Lets talk about this light... GOD of LIGHTS, with no variation, deviation, or shadow of turning. HE is brighter than the noon day sun. PAUL caught a glimpse of this GOD of LIGHTS, he was blinded for three days. He probably would have been blind for the rest of his life because the LIGHT he saw was so brilliant, radiant and pure. HIS LIGHT fills the eternal city. I believe that GOD is so bright that HE would make the sun look dark, but even then HE is infinitely brighter than anything HE created.
Isiah says to rise and shine because your LIGHT has come. David says may the LIGHT of YOUR countenance shine upon us. Moses says the LORD was as a pillar of fire to give LIGHT. HE wraps himself with LIGHT as with a garment. HE is my LIGHT and salvation. HIS word is a lamp to my feet, and a LIGHT to my path. God is LIGHT and in Him is no darkness.
JESUS says I am the LIGHT of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness. Whoever walks in the night stumbles, because the LIGHT is not in him. When your eye is good, your whole body also is full of LIGHT. But when your eye is bad, your body is full of darkness. Therefore take heed (be careful/watchful/do not be deceived)that the light which is in you is not darkness.
There is power over darkness, this power is HIS LIGHT. Sin can only grow in dark secret places. Statistics are sickening and demoralizing. The sons and daughters are in prison. Shame and condemnation are destroying our generation of promise. I am tired of comprimise, and seeing us trade our birthright for bowls of soup.
Therefore sin shall have no dominion over you!!! We are destined for victory, we are children of the LIGHT. This is our reality, this is our inheritance. The LIGHT of HIS countenance, shining upon us, penetrating every single crack in our heart. The heart is deceitful above all things. But HIS LIGHT can pierce every corner, and break up the hardest parts of our deceiving hearts.
I want to be a son of LIGHT. I want to shine, Psalms says those who look to him are radiant. I want HIS glory to be in me and on me. I want to walk into rooms and brighten the atmosphere with HIS love. I want to walk down dark allies, and be LIGHT to the broken and poor. I want HIS light to be upon me to bring healing to the nations. I want to be a bright and shining LIGHT for all to see. JESUS says put your LIGHT up for all to see. JESUS is our LIGHT.
Paul boasted in his weakness, we need to expose ours. We need to share our struggles, pitfalls and weaknesses. We need to live in HIS LIGHT & position ourself for victory. HIS LIGHT overwhelms the deepest dark. HE is the LIGHT of lights. It is impossible for darkness to remain in HIS LIGHT.
So be lit up, by the glorious presence of your FATHER who is madly in love with you. Remain and abide 24/7 in this LIGHT. HE is an all consuming fire, may HE kindle a fire inside of you that burns hotter and brighter than ever before. May you completley surrender every form of addiction, offence, and stronghold. Cast off everything that is hindering you. Walk in the LIGHT as he is in the LIGHT.
The Nations shall come to your LIGHT, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
