Austin Richmond is a diamond in the rough. While his maturity and character still need development, his raw hunger and desire for Jesus is unparalleled. I am sure that the other letters went over his radical conversion, healing and violent turning away from addictions. He also became reconciled with his family and led his brother to Jesus.
I want to focus on what happened before I met Austin. Paul said I have given birth to you through prayer. After meditating on many books by different revivalist I realized how powerful travail can be. A week before I met Austin God told me to go to the awakening in Kansas City. I drove off into the sunrise the next morning resolved to encounter Jesus more than I ever have. In the process God sent travail upon me and I agonized for souls in a real way for the first time. Austin Richmond is undoubtedly the fruit of that encounter with Jesus.
On any given day you can expect him to spend hours upon hours in the word and in deep meditation and communion with the Lord. I have spent almost every single day with Austin since his conversion. He has so much hunger and a pure, tender vulnerable heart before both God and man. He is a nations shaker, and he will accomplish great things for our King.
(p.s. Sorry I have never wrote a letter of recommendation before.)
